FMB-PLC
The FMB-PLC centralises the configuration of the entire acquisition chain and drives every Metro module (LVDT, incremental, air gauge, force, instruments), with a single master handling up to 125 measurement inputs. It suits a single inspection station as readily as a multi-dimension bench, and expands simply by adding modules.
On the PLC side, it offers native integration with the main industrial networks:
- EtherNet/IP
- EtherCAT
- Profinet
- CC-Link
Measurements and system states are directly available in the PLC, with no gateway and no intermediate software. Integration therefore follows the machine's own logic, with no additional layer to maintain.
The FMB-PLC includes an integrated web server, accessible from a browser with no software installation. It identifies the connected modules, their assignment and their full configuration, and allows a pneumatic module to be calibrated or the sensitivity of a strain gauge transducer to be adjusted. Commissioning, diagnostics and maintenance can all be carried out from any PC or tablet on the network.
Like every M-Bus module, the FMB-PLC is built from an anodised aluminium profile and mounts on a DIN rail. It connects directly to neighbouring modules through its M-Bus ports, or can be remoted by cable to sit as close as possible to the transducers.
