Strain gauge sensors
A strain gauge transducer converts a mechanical load into a proportional electrical signal expressed in mV/V. It is the most widely used technology for measuring tension, compression or alternating loads in industrial environments.
The transducers shown here are genuine HBK products, a global reference in force measurement. The range covers a variety of designs (S beam, diaphragm, ring torsion, universal) and nominal forces from a few newtons to several hundred kilonewtons.
With mV/V output and TEDS recognition, these transducers connect directly to the F1, F2 and F3 displays, the P2 and P3 portable displays and the CD1-SG-ANA and IO-Link signal conditioners, designed and manufactured by METRO. Transducer and electronics therefore come from a single supplier.
